Shawna Robinson, former NASCAR driver, shows improvement with breast cancer

After 15 months of fighting breast cancer, Shawna Robinson, former NASCAR champion, is showing major improvements since her diagnosis with the disease. Seen here in one of 8 starts in a NASCAR event, she has truly pioneered a spot for women in racing and female entrepreneurship.

After her success with racing, Shawna began work on "Happy Chair," her custom design and furniture business, based in Charlotte, NC. Happy Chair seeks out old or antique chairs and sofas, reupholsters them, and then adds intricate designs like flowers, animals or textured fabrics. Shawna also provides interior design and event design for many different clients, including several clients she knows from the racetrack. You can check out Shawna's design projects on her website.
